Formed in 2016 in Rome by members of the flourishing local scene, Invernoir have shown a special talent right from the beginning withtheir striking debut EP (“Mourn” 2018) combining the cherished atmospheres of British ’90s Doom with the more recent Scandinavian scene, managing the difficult feat of not sounding derivative at all. With their debut album (The Void and the Unbearable Loss – 2020) they received enthusiastic reviews from all over the world, building a loyal fanbase eagerly awaiting the new album titled “Aimin’ for Oblivion”, set to be released by cult label code666 in early autumn 2024.
